The 2018 Artsfest committee and the Springfield Regional Arts Council (SRAC) Board of Directors invite you to be a part of this year’s festival. Artsfest will be held May 5 & 6, 2018 on Historic Walnut Street from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
The festival attracts up to 20,000 people annually from a wide range of demographics. This is an excellent opportunity for you to promote your organization throughout the art community, as well as to all those that attend the festival.
If your organization would like to participate in Artsfest, please fill out the Artsfest Non-Profit registration form below and submit payment by March 16, 2018. All SRAC Non-Profit Support Members receive a $50.00 discount on their non-profit booth space. A total of 20 non-profit spaces are available at this year’s festival, on a first-come, first-served basis.
All non-profit booths will be located on Walnut Street, west of John Q. Hammons Parkway, and are required to offer a children's art activity at the organization's booth. Please note: Due to new fire department tent regulations, tent rentals through the Downtown Springfield Association are no longer available. You must bring your own 10' x 10' tent. We strong suggest you plan to secure the tent with weights on the legs.
When planning for Artsfest, please note that the sale of items/merchandise by non-profits is restricted in order to eliminate competition with artists’ sales. No sale of art, crafts, posters, food, drinks or t-shirts are allowed by any participants other than the SRAC and juried artists. Fundraising activities, such as soliciting donations or offering raffles, are allowed at the non-profit booths but must be pre-approved by the Downtown Springfield Association and the SRAC.
