A Message From The New Executive Director

It was with great excitement (and a little trepidation as well) that I
walked through the doors of The Creamery this week, into a new office, a new job and a return to the Arts milieu from which I had taken a slight hiatus to embark on some meaningful personal journeys. I was greeted by five wonderful new colleagues -- enthusiastic, talented, clever, innovative and totally dedicated individuals. After spending a few hours around a table with them, I was amazed at all that is being accomplished here at the Arts Council for the sake of Springfield's Arts community.
I am thrilled and honored to have been asked to come on board, and I am going to do my very best to continue on the exemplary path blazed by the Board and those who have come before me, to create and accomplish new ways to promote the Arts in Springfield and to further a real spirit of collaboration and cooperation between all of the fabulous Arts organizations we are so fortunate to have here.
Let's put Springfield on the map as one of America's premier Arts
communities! If you see me around town, please introduce yourself and share with me any "Artsovative" ideas you have that I can pass on to the Board!
