The Moon City Creative District is hosting its first ever Summer Solstice Art Fair, June 17, 2017, at Lafayette Park.
The Ozark Greenways, Jordan Valley Park, Springfield Regional Arts Council and Sculpture Walk Springfield have pulled together to reveal to the public 4-5 new permanent sculptures to be displayed this fall in Jordan Valley Park. These pieces will extend the existing public art route, creating a museum without walls with access to all in the heart of Downtown Springfield. Funds have been provided by a Collective Impact Grant from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
“Once Upon a Terrible Time” is seeking artists of all mediums to create literal and interpretive works inspired by the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. We encourage artists to research their favorite fairytale and their original stories as told by the Brothers first in 1812. Any and all submissions welcome through April 14th, 2017.
The Drury on C-Street gallery invites artists to submit work encapsulates the idea of representation, diversity, and how being represented makes you feel. The Representing Reality exhibition will run April 7 to April 31, 2017.
Maschino's is hosting a two month exhibit of the work of regional artists from May 2 through June 25. The juried show will have as its theme “Impressionists from the Ozarks”.

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host Flights of Fantasy, our annual Juried Exhibit June-July of 2017. Our natural sense of curiosity is drawn to the strange, unfamiliar and fantastic. The unexplainable and imagined has long been embraced in all art mediums through subtle or obvious deviations from reality in traditional and off-the-wall imagery.
