Join us on Tuesday, September 9th at 7pm for Marvin Murphree and Friends. Marvin Murphree and Friends is a group of professional and advanced student performers who have banded together for the purpose of raising funds for the most worthy cause of building an urgent care facility for those suffering with cancer. Individually those involved have performed around the world and for heads of state. They have been heard in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Members of the troupe include Former Miss America Debra Barnes Snodgrass, internationally acclaimed operatic contralto Janice Fulbright and operatic baritone Marvin Murphree who has appeared on stage, radio and television throughout the United States. Also appearing will be Silver Dollar City's Melanie Holt, award winning singers Steve Ames, Betty Salmon, Lendi Stirewalt, and Cassandra Armstrong. Pianist Shauna Storey will provide piano accompaniment. Collectively, Marvin Murphree and Friends will put on a highly entertaining and varied program of music ranging from solo piano pieces, to Broadway hits and opera.
