Join in the community-wide, alcohol-free celebration of the visual and performing arts as we welcome 2008 with live music, theatre, magic, children’s activities and more!

New Year’s Eve festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a fireworks grand finale at Midnight in Jordan Valley Park.

Fill the Truck! First Night Springfield is challenging all event attendees to help fill the Ozarks Food Harvest Mobile Food Pantry truck and join the fight to end hunger in the Ozarks. Event attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to any First Night venue to help “fill the truck” that will be located outside of the Expo Center at the event. Non-perishable food item donations also will be accepted at each First Night venue in the barrels located by the ticket tables. Monetary contributions also will be accepted at the event venue entrances for the Mobile Food Pantry project.
