What's Happening

There are many ways to monitor arts-related events in the community and activities sponsored by the Springfield Regional Arts Council:

  • Calls for Artists

  • Community Arts Calendar

  • Exhibitions

  • Press Releases

  • Special Events and Campaigns

  • @ The Creamery

  • Programs:

The Springfield Regional Arts Council offers many opportunities throughout the year in which artists and arts educators can share their expertise and experience with the students in our programs.

    • Artist in Residence: A local artist visits regional schools, giving thousands of kids a chance to see art as a real-life process.

    • Claymobile: A partnership with Springfield Pottery to create a mobile ceramic education outreach program dedicated to serving our community.

    • Performing Arts Tour: A full-day treat! Area performing organizations presents educational performances for schools during the day and the entire community in the evening.

    • Vincent Van GOAT: Vincent Van GOAT, a large-as-life interactive sculpture, blends art and technology to teach children about Ozarks artists in a fun way.

Each of the programs have different funding requirements based on audience size, travel distance, etc. Claymobile, Artist in Residence and the Performing Arts Tour all require a 1:1 match based on a budget created after approval of the initial application. Vincent Van GOAT is free but travel arrangements must be made by the receiving organization.

A Springfield Regional Arts Coucnil (SRAC) Representative will respond to your application within two weeks. For questions, contact the SRAC at 417-862-2787(ARTS) or email info@springfieldarts.org.
