Branson Arts Council Brings 12 Acclaimed Missouri Artists to Exhibition at the Branson Convention Center

The Branson Arts Council, in collaboration with the Branson Convention Center, is pleased to announce the opening of a first ever, fine art exhibition featuring 12 acclaimed Missouri artists.  These artists will display their award winning artwork, ranging from oils to acrylics to photography, at the Branson Convention Center located at 200 South Sycamore, Branson, MO, starting on August 26, 2016 and running thru January 26, 2017.  The artists were chosen by a special panel of jurists because of their talents, distinctions and accolades.  Each artist will display a variety of their work in the Concourse of the Branson convention center on a 14’x20’ wall panel.  All works are for sale and will be replaced by the artist as they are sold, so it is advisable to visit the exhibition often during the exhibition dates.

The artists featured are:  Dave Carter, Cape Girardeau; Raine Clotfelter, Branson; Stephanie Cramer, Springfield; Dee Giles, Springfield; Steve Hadar, Table Rock Lake; Henry Head, Branson; David Kontra, Hartville; Alpha Morrow, Branson; Alan O’Neal, Springfield; Thia Schuler, Table Rock Lake; Steve Snyder, Mount Vernon; and Jackie Stoner, Branson West.

Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served at an invitation only VIP opening reception on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6-7 pm followed by a reception open to the public from 7-9 pm with cash bar.  To RSVP for the 7-9 reception, please contact cjohnson@bransoncc.com by August 17, 2016.  Reception attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists, hear about their works and be part of this premiere event.

This event has been made possible by the generosity of the Branson Convention Center in collaboration with the Branson Arts Council.
