“La Cultura: A Celebration of Latin American Culture” will be a visual journey to Mexico through local, regional, and international art. On display from August 20, 2018 through November 12, 2018 at The Sky Gallery at the Springfield-Branson Regional Airport. This first of its kind show will celebrate our connection with Tlaquepaque, Springfield’s Sister City famous for its pottery, blown glass, mariachi bands, and monarch butterflies.
To be considered for this exhibit, please submit a piece of two-dimensional art that celebrates Latin American culture following the guidelines below. Selected works will be on display alongside original art from artists in our sister city, Tlaquepaque, as well as textiles from the region.

Submit up to 5 jpg images of your FINISHED work intended for the show to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, August 2nd.
Include a brief artist statement, contact information, dimensions of piece, and medium of piece in the email.
