Springfield Ballet Scholarship Auditions for Fall 2009

Springfield Ballet announces scholarship program auditions for children ages seven and older who have a strong passion and desire for ballet. No previous dance experience needed to apply. Students must fill out a detailed application, meet financial need requirements, exhibit talent and potential, and attend an audition in order to be considered for these scholarships. Limited funds are available for full and partial scholarships. Applications are attached and are available at the Springfield Ballet business office at The Creamery Arts Center.

All auditions will be held at the Springfield Ballet. Applicants with no previous dance experience should contact Ashley Paige Williams, school director, to set up an audition and assessment. Applicants with previous dance experience should bring their completed application to the appropriate audition date listed below:

Wednesday, June 24, 4:30-5:30 pm (ages 7-9)
Thursday, June 25, 4:30-6:00 pm (ages 10-14, for students not en pointe)
Thursday, June 25, 6:00-8:30 pm (ages 12 and older, for students en pointe)
