The Skinny Improv and The Springfield Shakespeare Festival announces second show of the Festival- "the Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged."

The Springfield Shakespeare Festival is proud to announce its second show of its 3rd season. The show is "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged" by the Reduced Shakespeare Company.

Directed by George Cron, this hysterical show will take the audience through all 37 of Shakespeare's Plays in 90 Minutes. Featuring an amazingly talented cast of Springfield favorites Clayton Avery, Ryan Thomas King and Adam Hoelscher.

The show will run Thursdays-Saturday at 7:30 pm June 4-13, 2009.

Thursdays nights continue with the popular "Pay What you Will Thursdays". If you have a dollar, we'll take a dollar, if you have 20, we'll take 20.

This play is running in conjuction with The Springfield Shakespeare festival's free produciton of "Much Ado about Nothing" at Jordan Valley Park.

The Springfield Shakespeare Festival exists to bring quality, educational, and innovative classic works of theatre to Springfield and the Ozarks. The Springfield Shakespeare Festival will be an annual event held in late summer and will feature works by William Shakespeare and other classic playwrights. Through quality performances and educational outreaches The Springfield Shakespeare Festival will work to compliment the already strong arts community in Springfield
