‘Chapter & Verse: Music on a Sunday Afternoon’
June 14 at Library Center

Adults are invited to attend Chapter & Verse: Music on a Sunday Afternoon at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, in the auditorium at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave. Techs and the Roadies will perform. A folk rock band with a distinctive sound, they'll surprise the audience with songs they forgot they knew from the Beatles to James Taylor and much more. ‘Stories, Music and Crazy Kazoos!’
June 15-16 at Area Libraries

Children of all ages are invited to attend Stories, Music and Crazy Kazoos! at the following times and locations:
• 10 a.m. on Monday, June 15, in the upstairs meeting room at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library
• 2 p.m. on Monday, June 15, at the Republic Branch Library
• 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, at Ash Grove Elementary School
• 1 and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, in the Frisco room at the Library Station

‘Learn It! Self-Paced Tutorials’ June 15-16 and 18 at Edge Community Technology Center
Registration is underway for adults to attend Learn It! Self-Paced Tutorials at 10 a.m. or 5 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, or 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the Edge Community Technology Center located on the lower level of the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St. Participants can learn at their own pace using a variety of tutorial software. Instruction available on basic computer skills, organizing files and folders, Windows XP, Internet Explorer, Photoshop, QuickBooks, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft products including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and others. ‘Computer-Instructed Keyboarding’
June 15-16 and 18 at Edge Community Technology Center

Registration is underway for adults to attend Computer-Instructed Keyboarding at 10 a.m. or 5 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, or 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, at the Edge Community Technology Center on the lower level of the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St. The Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing software helps participants learn or improve their keyboarding skills. ‘Computer Skills II’

Registration is underway for adults to attend Computer Skills II at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 15, at the Edge Community Technology Center located on the lower level of the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St. Participants can learn to identify common Windows elements, use the taskbar, start and program menus and explore control panel settings, including various display options.
