Have Some Summer Fun with Discounts to Theme Parks and Rides

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board and its facilities are again participating in a discount theme park ticket consignment program offered through the Missouri Park and Recreation Association for this summer. Reduced tickets are available to Branson's Silver Dollar City, *Branson Belle, and White Water; Kansas City's Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun; Lake of the Ozarks area’s Big Surf; and Six Flags St. Louis. (See table below for consignment prices.) *Branson Belle’s discount is offered by purchasing a $2.50 coupon, which comes with a discount code. The purchasers can then make the reservation for a lunch or dinner cruise with Branson Belle staff at the reduced consignment price for everyone in their party (up to eight people). Please see a Park Board location for information on savings. Callers will note the date and time of their reservation on the coupon to obtain boarding tickets when they arrive. Discount theme park ticket locations include Park Board Main Office, 1923 N. Weller Ave.; Mediacom Ice Park, 635 East Trafficway; Chesterfield Family Center, 2511 W. Republic Road.; Doling Family Center, 301 E. Talmage St.; Jenny Lincoln Center, 300 E. Harrison St. Discounts of five-to-40 percent off normal gate admission are available, depending upon the theme park. Branson attractions offer both daily admission and season-pass discounts.
