The 2008 Springfield Shakespeare Festival at Jordan Valley Park is looking for workers and fans of Shakespeare!

Mark your calendars now for the 2nd Annual Springfield Shakespeare Festival in Jordan Valley Park, May 29 - June 8, 2008. This year's festival will present William Shakespeare's world famous comedy, A Midsummer Nights Dream.

The Springfield Shakespeare Festival would not be possible without the support of our hard working volunteers in the Springfield area. We hope you will consider volunteering your time to be a part of these years Shakespeare Festival.

Volunteers are needed to assist at the entrance, take tickets, work booths, usher, pass out flyers, and put up posters.

As a volunteer, you will receive free admission to the festival, plus a $3 discount on a 2008 Springfield Shakespeare Festival T-shirt. Individuals volunteering to work two nights will receive a Shakespeare Festival T-Shirt at no cost.

Before the show begins, we are looking for local talent of all kinds to take part in the festival's pre-show. All varieties of talent are encouraged to participate; jugglers, fire-eaters, baton twirlers, yodelers, and tap dancing frogs are all welcome.
