The Creamery Arts Center
The Springfield Regional Arts Council (SRAC) will host the tenth annual exhibition of senior student work from Central High School’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program at The Creamery Arts Center during the month of April.
The Springfield Regional Arts Council hosts thousands of students annually at The Creamery Arts Center to explore the visual, performing and literary arts. Our experienced staff will work closely with you to build a custom field trip to match your curriculum studies.
To book a field trip at The Creamery Arts Center or for more information, contact Stephanie Cramer at Stephanie@springfieldarts.org.
The Springfield Regional Arts Council (SRAC) is pleased to announce the call to artists for Planes, Trains and Automobiles: The Art of Motion” an exhibit at The Creamery Arts Center from Friday, March 3 to Friday, March 31, 2017. All area artists are encouraged to participate.
Just as all things appear to be moving, the SRAC calls upon the artists of Southwest Missouri to show their best interpretation of all things mechanical or in motion. Be it a representation of gears on a bike or something referring to movement. We want to see how you envision movement or automation.
Keep your creative juices flowing with Alicia Farris' "Brush Up" sessions every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
Alicia will share her studies of the human face and figure in this two-day watercolor workshop. Using Alicia’s characteristic loose and colorful style, you will learn techniques to portray not just a likeness, but more importantly, the personality and emotion of the human face or a subject involved in an activity. Students will benefit from demonstrations as well as discussion, individual and group critiques.
This class is intended for the painter who has at least a basic command of the watercolor medium. Portrait painting is not a pre-requisite, just love of color!
