Join us to hear from two dynamic, African American Springfield writers of books for young adults and children!
Thursday, February 17, 2022 hear from Brandy Colbert (graduate from Gendale High School and Missouri State University) about her journey to becoming an award-winning young adult author. She will present via Zoom and will engage in a live Q&A Session with audience members at the Library Center (4653 S. Campbell Ave), 7:30pm - 8:30pm. Her newest books are "Black Birds in the Sky" (2021) and "The Voting Booth" (2020).
