Join us at the Springfield Art Museum on Wednesday, May 11th at 5pm for the next Creative Classrooms, our educators-only event series. We’ll talk about the Japanese art of kintsugi, or gold joining, and the fascinating philosophy behind the practice. We’ll also make paper plate kintsugi pieces together – a super easy art activity that will translate well to any classroom. Attendees can also participate in the museum’s newest exhibition, Yoko Ono: Mend Piece and experience the DIY Fluxus space, where some of Ono’s conceptual art pieces come to life!
