Learn to use the arts to:
- Connect to curricular areas
- Increase student engagement
- Manage Classrooms
- Deepen student comprehension
The Springfield Regional Arts Integration Conference brings together educators in southwest Missouri to learn about arts integration strategies for classroom implementation. Utilizing “Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts” teaching artists, you will learn more about the role arts integration can play in both arts and core classroom settings.
As defined by The Kennedy Center, arts integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding of one subject through the use of an art form. Through this creative process, students connect evolving objectives in each area of study.
The conference includes two days of amazing sessions covering relevant topics and featuring professional teaching artists.
