The Art Show takes place at a vibrant, popular venue called “Farmers Park,” which was the brain child of the O’Reilly family of O’Reilly Auto Parts. The development is centered around the popular farmers market, which draws such large crowds that it stays open year-round and is the “place to be” on Saturdays in Springfield. Unique loft apartments, gourmet restaurants and upscale retail business add lots of traffic to the venue. This year marks the third annual Art Show and it is expected to draw more crowds than ever.
Amenities include: booth sitters, food sold on site and complimentary snacks and beverages for artists, overnight security, a promotional campaign including social media promotion of our artists, and a cash prize for Best of Show. Load-in and load-out is frustration-free, and parking is free. Electricity is available for a nominal fee.
Saturday show hours are from 9am to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, with tear down on Sunday. Booth fees will be $225 for 10x10 and $400 for 10x20, and electricity will be $10. Our wonderful show manager, Dot Atkinson, will again be there to work for you and make sure everything goes smoothly.
The Art Show will be balanced in each medium and style of work. Categories are: Painting, Photography, Fiber Art, Furniture Art, Ceramics, Sculpture (wood, metal, etc.), Wood Turning, Stained Glass Art and Mixed Media.
