Voting is now open for the Downtown Springfield Association's 2019 Awards. Winners will be announced Jan. 31 at the 2019 Downtown Awards & Auction, at The Old Glass Place.
The public is invited to vote on winners in six different categories:
Best New Office
Best New Hospitality
Best New Retailer
Best New Downtown Event
Good Neighbor Award
Urban Legend-in-the-Making Award (SRAC Director of Marketing & Development, Nicole Chilton, is one of the nominees!)
The DSA Nominating Committee selected award winners in four categories. They will also be announced at the Downtown Awards & Auction:
Business of the Year
Developer of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Tom Billionis Lifetime Achievement Award
The public is invited to cast their ballots online. Voting will close Jan. 24.
Tickets for the 2019 Downtown Awards & Auction are now available through 417 Tix. They are $15 for DSA members and $25 for the general public. The night begins at 5 p.m. at The Old Glass Place with a cocktail hour, heavy appetizers and live music from Ellie Schmidly. The ceremony follows from 6-8 p.m.
