Explore the other-worldly creations of David Zaslow in this immersive sculpture installation featuring over 80 sculptures using recycled materials and found objects. Inspired by black and white illustrations in the mid-century textbook “Animals Without Backbones,” Zaslow creates biomorphic creatures that ooze ambiguity and challenge the viewer to question their origin, narrative, and purpose.
Exhibition is on view inside the ideaXfactory, 351 N. Boonville Ave. from December 7, 2018 though January 25, 2019. First Friday Art Walk receptions on Friday, Dec. 7 from 6-10 p.m. and Jan. 4 from 6-10 p.m. The exhibition will also be free and open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursday from 3-7 p.m.
David Zaslow will give an artist talk on Friday, Jan 25 at 6 p.m. during the closing reception.
