Missouri State University’s Long-Range Plan for 2016-2021 includes the strategic priority of Globalization, which calls for the university to attract a growing number of international students in targeted disciplines from an increasingly broad array of countries. Another part of this strategic priority is to develop initiatives that provide international experience and promote global learning for all Missouri State students, faculty and staff.
Dr. Jim Baker and Brad Bodenhausen will discuss how international students are attracted to the campus, the important role that international students play at Missouri State University and how the Office of International Programs (International Services at Missouri State University) promotes global learning opportunities.
Hosted by the Missouri State University Foundation and presented by Arvest Bank, the Bears in the Know Luncheon Series showcases unique areas at Missouri State University.
The luncheons are held in the Turner Family Hospitality Room on the first floor of the Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center. Complimentary parking is available in the attached garage off of McDaniel Street. Feel free to arrive any time after 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at noon.
