Springfield Little Theatre Hosts: Film Intensive

Springfield Little Theatre’s Summer Film Intensive is a four-day cinema conservatory available to middle school and high school students who are interested in advancing their skills in film production.

Under the direction of industry professionals, students will:
• Learn how to conceptualize and write a script
• Create a shot list and storyboard
• Be exposed to advanced lighting and camera techniques
• Assume various crew positions and responsibilities
• Get a behind the scenes look at the ins and outs of producing a film
• Explore acting for the camera techniques
• Learn how to direct
• Learn how to watch a film as a filmmaker
• Expand their film vocabulary
• Be held to the highest standards of set etiquette

Most importantly, participants will learn to harness their visual intelligence, leverage their resources, and make better movies!

Monday, June 3-Thursday, June 6, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Ages 12-18

Springfield Little Theatre’s Film Intensive will be held at the SLT Education Facility, 237 South Florence Avenue.

Tuition: $175
