‘Learning to See: The Art of Amy-Beth Rice’ June 15 at Library Center

Adults are invited to attend Learning to See: The Art of Amy-Beth Rice from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, in the Library Center auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Memphis-based artist, muralist and educator Amy-Beth Rice will discuss her personal work, which centers on themes of identity, truth, and perceiving yourself and your reality accurately. Her exhibit at the Library Center consists of portraiture, imaginative scenes and animals in the pop surrealism style, with a unifying color palette and lots of movement in the brushstrokes and composition. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
