An Afternoon with the Layton Hollow Gals

Adults are invited to attend An Afternoon with the Layton Hollow Gals at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.

Melinda Mullins, Emily Higgins and Betsy Beymer are the Layton Hollow Gals, named after the birthplace of Melinda’s father, Ozarks’ Grammy-nominated songwriter Johnny Mullins, who penned hit songs for Loretta Lynn, Porter Wagoner and others. The Layton Hollow Gals will share songs from Johnny’s body of work including “the shoebox collection” of previously undiscovered songs. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
