The official release of the 2019 edition of the Community Focus Report is one week away. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, and members of the committees that helped shape the report will be on hand with more information.
The presentation will begin at 9 a.m. with an overview by report facilitator Dr. Jonathan Groves and steering committee chair Morey Mechlin, followed by several great speakers from the community who will share success stories and give insights on challenges mentioned in the report. The publication will be distributed following the conclusion of the presentation.
As a reminder, parking will be limited at the Springfield Art Museum — available parking lots are marked in green on the map. Street parking in the vicinity of the museum will also be available.
Please note that overflow parking will be available at National Avenue Christian Church and a shuttle will be running between their lot and the museum. Many thanks to the church and Fisk Transportation Group for providing this service!
We look forward to seeing you next week! If anyone you know should also be among the first to receive the report, tell them to RSVP prior to the event at this link.
