Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies

During its annual Fall Gathering and Annual Meeting on November 8, 2019, in Rocheport, Missouri, the Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies (MACAA), Leslie Forrester, SRAC Executive Director, was elected president.

MACAA is a network of Missouri community arts agencies that has served communities since 1979 and believes that the arts make communities better places to live. MACAA programs and services are designed to enhance members' ability to create and sustain programs and services which meet their community needs. The MACAA office is in Hannibal, MO, and staffed by Executive Director Michael Gaines and Office Assistant Kerrie Green-Otten. Other board member announcements include: Nancy Crouse (Florissant), Kim Carr (New Florence) and Gary Grigsby (Warrensburg) were elected to the MACAA board and current board members Sarah Dresser (Columbia) and Kathy Green (Marshall) were approved to renew for second 3-year terms. Other MACAA board members include Sara Steffens (Cape Girardeau), Teresa Fankhauser (St. Joseph), Tom Beard (Lexington/Blue Springs), Leslie Forrester (Springfield), Kat Schien (Manchester), Stephanie Kulas (Mexico), Reba Fryer (Rolla), Jamie Tomek (Middletown), Denny Ward (Marquand) and Ex-Officio Cindy DuBois (St. Peters)
