Call for Artist: Exploratoria

Fantastic voyages, otherworldly colors and the time and place of flying machines (the Springfield Branson National Airport!) we invite artists to explore the boundaries of their imaginations and mediums in their artworks.
Submit up to 5 digital images (JPGs) of actual works you hope to have selected for exhibition. Name each JPG with your first initial, last name and piece title (example: JSmithTitle.jpg). Send all submissions to by midnight, November 16th, 2020.
The selected works will be on display December 2020-February 2021.

Artwork Restrictions:
Because of the nature of the exhibition space in which the show will take place, submissions must meet the following restrictions:
· Artwork (including dimension of frame) is recommended to be at least 36” on one side.
· Hanging the art requires that the piece be wired with D-Rings, 1/3 of the way down the back of the work. Works must be two-dimensional (no three-dimensional work)
Artists will be selected by an anonymous jurying process. All submissions will be notified of acceptance or rejection by mid August. All participating artists are expected to drop off their work at the airport during a timeframe provided by the arts council upon acceptance.
