Virtual Event FAQ

VIRTUAL EVENT FAQ

What is a virtual gala?

A virtual gala is hosted entirely over the Internet. Our presenters, honorees, performers, and others will be present on your screen, and you will enjoy the entire evening as if you had a front-row seat!

How do I participate in a virtual gala?

All participants must buy a ticket to the 2021 Ozzies in order to access the virtual gala. You can do that here. You will receive a special link to access the gala once you have registered. To participate, you will click this link up to 15 minutes before the event opens. The link will open a Zoom  screen, where you will be among other guests and viewing the event. Purchase  "Gala -to-Go" bag for interactive activities to participate in and gourmet treats to share!

What happens once I register?

After you complete your registration and checkout, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link. If you do not receive an email (and it isn't in your junk mail) email Sarah@springfieldarts.org.

Can I share my special access links with others?

For every paid registration to attend the Ozzies virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the event.  The special access link is tied to the email account of the individual on the registration. However - feel free to throw a pop-up party!

What are the technical requirements to participate in the virtual gala?

Of course we'd prefer to see your faces but at the minimum you must have a computer with sound and a reliable internet connection. In order to participate in the interactive activities you'll need a webcam.
