Calls for Artists: "Power of Small"

Finley River Gallery will host their annual juried  “Power of Small” Show Oct. 11-26.  Entries are due Oct. 2-5 1:00.  Entries can of be no larger than 80 sq. Inches, this includes any matting,  it does not include the frame.  This a traditional painting /drawing competition, no prints, digital, computer or photography art.  It must be wired for hanging, and be for sale, if sold a 10%  commission goes to the gallery.  There is a $5 entry for members & $8 for nonmembers.  A limit of 3 entries per person.  Reception & awards will be Oct.

Call for Artists: Children's Book Author Seeking Illustrator

Local author is seeking an illustrator for her children's book about foster care children. Preference is for illustrators who create in realism with a magical quality, close-up intimacy, vibrant watercolor paintings, and who will work from existing photographs for reference.

Calls for Vendors: One World Bites & Libations

The Council of Churces invites you to be featured at our first-ever One World Bites and Libations event on October 5, 2019*. Springfield’s newest festival experience billows with tastes, sounds, and entertainment from around the globe. It’s a celebration of diversity. It benefits the Council of Churches of the Ozarks (CCO) programs that provide services to our under-resourced neighbors through nine outreach services including, Crosslines, Ambassadors for Children, and Safe to Sleep.

Call for Artists: Ozark Splendor at The Sky Gallery

The Springfield-Branson National Airport has become known for its Ozarks-inspired décor: riverbed carpets, swimming fish, and spacious glass to highlight the Midwest blue skies. With this theme in mind, The Sky Gallery invites artists to create pieces inspired by the Ozark’s splendor.

Springfield Regional Arts Council artists are encouraged to submit a 2D work of art of any media to be on display at The Sky Gallery from August 13, 2019 through November 13, 2019. Pieces selected will be a part of the Ozzie Awards Art Gala, held on Saturday, October 19th.
