Family Days are designed to help kids and grown-ups explore the Museum’s exhibits together. They feature hands-on gallery activities and art-making for the whole family. Family Days are drop in events that are FREE and open to the public. Registration is not required.
Join award-winning artist, John Whytock, for an afternoon of fine art and refreshment at Fresh Gallery in downtown Springfield. A professional artist for 40 years, John’s mural work is familiar in our community - on display in Bass Pro and the Wonders of Wildlife, and his fine Art has been showing in Fresh Gallery since winning Best of Show in their 2018 Annual Juried Exhibition.
Creating an American Identity Reinstallation (re-opens January 18, 2019, then ongoing) – The rotating exhibition of the Museum’s permanent collection focused on the ways in which artists respond to and reveal our cultural identity as Americans re-opens in 2019 with a new look and multiple new points of view.
