Registration is underway for ‘tweens and teens to attend Epic Art at the following times on Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.

· ‘Tweens in grades 4-8: 1 p.m.

· Teens in grades 7-12: 3 p.m.

Get creative with string pull and geode painting and a collaborative sculpture. Prepare to get messy!

Teens in grades 5-12 are invited to attend Bilbo PAPERbaggins from 4-5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, at the Fair Grove Branch Library, 81 S. Orchard Blvd.

Celebrate epic storytelling and worldbuilding on JRR Tolkien Day by taking a guided video tour of Minecraft Middle Earth while you unlock your inner puppet master. We’ll make puppets and learn how to create our own epic adventures using a variety of puppet techniques. Materials will be provided.

Registration is underway for adults to attend DIY Holiday Mini-Wreaths at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.

Deck the halls, your fireplace mantle or front door with a DIY mini-wreath. Wreath forms and materials will be provided, but add to the festive fun by bringing your own ribbons, ornaments and other decor to share, trade or create with.

Watercolor Secrets for Beginners

Come join us for a risk-free workshop for those who want to learn about watercolors and the materials needed.  Nothing to buy and nothing to bring except a sack lunch. All materials and studio fees are included in the cost of the workshop. When you leave, you will have a few supplies and a good understanding of how to use them all! 

The workshop will be held on two Saturdays. October 26th and November 9,  from 10-2. The cost is $150 and includes all supplies and studio fees.
