Circle on the Square Holistic Life Center welcomes Artist-in-Residence Kevin Dwight Richardson

Circle on the Square Holistic Life Center ( https://circleonthesquare.org/ ) is pleased to welcome Kevin Dwight Richardson as Artist-in-Residence for February through May 2020. Mr. Richardson is an artist, educator, and communication designer and strategist currently residing and working in the greater New York City area where his work been published and featured in various galleries and festivals. Mr. Richardson will be teaching creativity classes, workshops, events, and open studios for artists to create in a communal atmosphere.

‘Homemade Holiday Crafts’ Dec. 13 at Library Center

Registration is underway for adults to attend Homemade Holiday Crafts from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, in the Library Center Story Hour Room, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Build your own cozy cabin ornament and learn how to decorate clay ornaments with a marbled design during this festive make-and-take ornament crafting session. Materials will be provided.

‘Flying Needles’ Aug. 13 at Ash Grove Branch Library

Adults are invited to attend Flying Needles at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Ash Grove Branch Library, 101 E. Main St.

Bring your knitting and crochet projects and join other fiber artists on the second Tuesday of every month. Work on your current projects, share patterns and ideas, and check out our knitting and crochet resources. All levels of experience are welcome.
