Adults are invited to attend A Winter Evening with Author Nancy Allen from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, in the Library Center auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Join Nancy Allen, author of “A Wolf in the Woods: An Ozarks Mystery” and many other books, to discuss her work. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Stick around after the discussion to learn how to participate in our Winter Reading Challenge, Jan. 2-Feb. 29.

Western Author James R. Wilder Book Signing Dec. 7 at Library Center

James R. Wilder will sell and sign copies of “Terror Near Town” and its sequel, “Tough Times in Grubville,” from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Both novels are part of Wilder’s western Harbison Mystery series and take place in the real town of Grubville, Missouri, where Wilder spent much of his youth.

Nana B and her granddaughter Hayden Sears will sell and sign copies of their book, “Harley’s Journey to Family,” from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Harley, a Golden Retriever, leaves the animal shelter where she was raised to see what the world is like beyond the shelter. She meets a lot of furry friends along the way. However, Harley is surprised in the end because she gets the only thing she has ever wanted.

Texas-based artist and author Izzy Anderson will sell and sign copies of her first book, “Princess Zoe and Her Marvelous Carriage” from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Princess Zoe and her family travel around in her beloved old carriage. However, not all the princesses at school think Princess Zoe’s carriage is marvelous, and she is bullied. With help from King Nicholaus, Princess Zoe learns to stand up for herself.

Meet the Author: Crescent Dragonwagon at Waverly House

Waverly House

Crescent Dragonwagon, author of many published books, will be present on Saturday, September 7 from 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. She has updated and written an Afterword for her mother, Charlotte Zolotow's, book "A Tiger Called Tomas" and will be present to give a talk and sign these books. Great children's book for a gift or your own children or grandchildren.
