Men's Chorus of the Ozark's is holding its 2nd annual Big Hat Extravaganza, a FUN fundraiser benefiting multiple nonprofit organizations in the community.
Springfield Contemporary Theatre is now raising funds toward its 25th Anniversary Season. To date the theatre has raised $30,272.51 toward their total goal of $75,000.00.
The SCT set this goal for their upcoming season: In April and May they need to pay performance royalties, secure professional contracts (Actors’ Equity Association and Stage Directors and Choreographers Society) and underwrite their “Pay What You Can” Thursday performances.
Curtains & Corks is a wine tasting and friendly competition wrapped into one. Wine stations are hosted by famous characters from past Little Theatre productions. Can you identify their character names and show titles? Don’t worry – if your knowledge of theatre is equivalent to a cheap box of wine, we encourage bribery to get you to the top! (21 & Up Only)

As members of the League of American Orchestras and as a part of their Orchestras Feeding America program, the Springfield Symphony will host a food drive, at its Is There Life After Death? classical concert on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts (525 S. John Q. Hammons Pkwy). All donations will benefit Ozarks Food Harvest a Feeding America partner.
