This is a hands on cooperative and collaborative filmmaking class for teens and another class for tweens (10-12). We cover the major aspects of filmmaking from screenwriting through to editing and then collaborate together to produce all original short films. Our program teaches and reinforces

During the Moxie Cinema"s closure, they are partnering with some fantastic film distributors to bring the Moxie experience to your home. Each week, they will "open" a new virtual screening room. A portion of all sales will benefit Moxie Cinema.

‘Springfield Shorts’ March 12 at Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library
Adults are invited to attend Springfield Shorts from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.
Enjoy an evening of short films made by local filmmakers and students, including “Posers” written and directed by Sean Thiessen, “Liven” written and directed by Kong Thao and “Roberto and the Robot” written and directed by Jonathan Stratman. We’ll chat with the casts and crews after the films.

You’ll learn how to handle media assets, transitions, trims, cuts, adding music and titles using our provided editing projects and software.
