Tabitha Mumford was born in Iowa. In Iowa, she graduated high school and started her college career before moving to Springfield. Her primary focus is obtaining a degree in Animation and Illustration. She started drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil, and was encouraged to continue making at throughout her life by her family. She has taught herself various styles, mediums and techniques. She is inspired by contemporary artists who create simple, eye-catching artworks.
I have always loved to draw, however my passion for fine art and illustration was not ignited until I started college. This was the first time that I was introduced into an art community and it made a huge difference in my life. I now work with ink, graphite, charcoal, digital, and gouache. I will continue to learn more mediums through my own explorations and through fine art and design classes. I look forward to learning and growing in our art community.
