Meg Wagler is a midwest visual artist, illustrator and muralist featured internationally for her colorful art and hand lettering. Her bold work is recognized for its vibrant palettes, striking compositions and messages of self love.
A St. Louis native, Meg received her BFA from Missouri State University in 2011 and after a career start in graphic design and art direction, shifted in 2019 from agency work to independent art focused on social impact.
My art balances bold colors and light/dark accents in an ever-evolving process of mirroring reality through a surreal prism. While some bodies of work are optimistic and encourage self love and motivation, others explore topics with polarizing conversations like femininity, environmental stewardship, and mental health. I focus my style on a blend of surrealism and pop art for work that feels delightfully offbeat and original.
