Julia is an award winning member of the Missouri Watercolor Society. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Missouri State University. Much of her artistic inspiration comes from growing up in the rugged state of Alaska, surrounded daily by its beauty and magic.
Julia is driven by a love for painting nature and animals. She strives to convey the feelings the subject portrays, not just a reproduction of the subject itself, but the emotions connected with it: peacefulness, contentment and comfort. It has been a lifetime goal of Julia's to be able to share her artwork with others. Enjoy!
