‘Take and Make Thursdays’ Jan. 24 at Midtown Carnegie Branch Library

Children in grades 2-5 are invited to attend Take and Make Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library Children's Department, 397 E. Central St.

Drop in anytime on Thursdays in January and find a surprise craft you can do in the Children’s Department or take with you for later. We’ll have some great craft books on display so you can continue the fun at home.

Podcasting Workshop for teens

Teens in grades 9-12 are invited to attend Podcasting Workshop from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, in Library Center meeting room B, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Want to learn how to make your own podcast? From writing and recording to editing and publishing, Library staff member Joe Misterovich will teach you the basics, then we’ll make a podcast together using your ideas, opinions and conversations.
