Join the Springfield Regional Arts Council for “Art in Focus” as we celebrate the powerful medium of photography. This medium is utilized to create and tell stories – whether that be through landscapes that capture the environment we live in, portraits that offer looks into different perspectives, abstract photography that captures a feeling and more – the sky is the limit! Capture the weird and wonderful moments and bring artwork to The Creamery Arts Center for Art in Focus for and be a part of our creative community!
Exhibition Details:
• Artwork Drop-Off Dates: Thursday, February 26, 2026, and Friday, February 27, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Opening Reception: Friday, March 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Location: The Creamery Arts Center
Submission Guidelines:
• Open to all artists, mediums, and styles – photography is encouraged due to the theme of the show.
• Artwork can be up to 48 inches in any direction.
• Artists are welcome to bring up to five pieces of work for the show.
• All hanging pieces must be wired and ready to hang. No saw-tooth hangers will be accepted.
• Artwork cannot weigh more than 50 lbs.
• All work should be signed and labeled with the title of the work and the artist’s name on the back of the piece for identification purposes.
• Prices will be required at the time of drop-off
“Art in Focus” will open for the public reception at First Friday Art Walk on March 6 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and will remain on display at The Creamery Arts Center throughout the month of March.
