– September 4, 2026

Description

“Ozarks Icons” invites artists to delve into the heart and soul of the Ozarks through your art! From the historic stretches of Route 66 to the culinary masterpiece of Cashew Chicken, from the mysterious origins of our not – so – native cobras to the iconic Bob Barker Boulevard we want to celebrate the people, places, and ideas of this region we proudly call home.

“Bad Art by Good People” is a unique event where community leaders and local artists collaborate to create art inspired by their love for Springfield, Missouri. The event aims to show that anyone can create art and to strengthen community bonds through the joy of making art together. This celebration of creativity showcases local artistic talent and provides participants an opportunity to highlight causes they care about the most.

Join us to see the transformative power of art and see how our community comes together to create something truly special. Sponsored by The McQueary Family.
