Encompassing embroidery, weaving, quilting, fashion, paper quilling, basket weaving, illustration of costume design, and much, much more, “With Every Fiber,” made possible by Brightspeed Fiber, encourages artists to embrace and push the boundaries of textiles. Use your art to celebrate a traditional art form that has been used not only for utilitarian purposes throughout history but also to create narratives, challenge the status quo, provide a medium for self-expression and so much more.
“With Every Fiber” is open to all artists, regardless of SRAC membership status. Artists can submit up to three pieces of art to be delivered on July 30 or 31 between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm to The Creamery Arts Center. The opening reception for “With Every Fiber” will be on August 7 at The Creamery Arts Center, from 5-7 pm.
