Springfield Little Theatre Education Department’s Youth Entertainment Series presents RADIUM GIRLS. Created for passionate teen performers seeking the next level of artistic growth, the Youth Entertainment Series brings young artists together in a collaborative, pre-professional rehearsal environment where creativity, discipline, and storytelling take center stage. These productions challenge performers with dynamic material while delivering remarkable live theatre for audiences of all ages.

Inspired by true events, RADIUM GIRLS is a gripping drama of resilience, justice, and the courage to stand up for what is right. Powerful, thought-provoking, and deeply moving, this compelling play shines a light on an important chapter in American history while showcasing the extraordinary strength of ordinary people.
Set in the 1920s, the story follows Grace Fryer and the young women who worked painting luminous watch dials with radium. As mysterious illnesses begin to spread among the workers, Grace risks everything to challenge a powerful corporation and uncover the truth. Their fight for justice forever changed workplace safety laws and became a lasting testament to the power of determination, hope, and speaking out in the face of injustice.
