Rountree Historic Homes Tour Returns Mother’s Day Weekend

The Rountree Council for Preservation presents the 2026 Rountree Historic Homes Tour on Saturday, May 9, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. This annual event invites guests to step inside five beautifully preserved historic homes in Springfield’s Rountree neighborhood.

Held Mother’s Day weekend, the tour offers a memorable afternoon of architecture, music, crafts, and neighborhood charm. Each featured home will not only highlight thoughtful historic details, but will also host vendors and live music.
*Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 cash the day of the tour. Advance tickets may be purchased at: Rountree-preservation.com

All tickets will be picked up the day of the event beginning at 11:00 a.m. at University Heights Baptist Church, 1010 S. National Avenue.
Shuttle service, provided by Fisk Transportation, will run continuously from 12:00-5:00 beginning at the church parking lot to tour homes.

The Rountree Council for Preservation is a non-profit organization that promotes thoughtful stewardship of Rountree’s historic homes and original craftsmanship. We encourage repair over replacement and honor the integrity of what has already stood the test of time. Through awareness and education, we work to keep the neighborhood’s authentic character intact.
