The Springfield Little Theatre Education Department is excited to present TROLLS, JR. in its 2026-2027 Education Series!
Join Poppy, Branch, and the whole colorful crew on a hair-raising adventure! The eternally optimistic Trolls love nothing more than singing, dancing, and hugging — but when the grumpy Bergens threaten their happiness, it’s up to Queen Poppy and her reluctant friend Branch to save the day. Based on the hit DreamWorks film, this feel-good musical bursts with familiar songs, big laughs, and an even bigger message: happiness is something you find inside yourself, and true colors shine brightest when you share them.
Placement auditions for performers ages 8 through 18 will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2027, at 7:00 PM at The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre (“The Judy”). At the auditions, participants will be taught a short movement combination and a portion of a song from the show and will be given and asked to perform a short line reading.
Check out the audition workshop on Sunday, January 3, 2027, to get a jump-start on the competition! The cast and parent meeting will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2027, at 7:00 PM at The Judy! Rehearsals will begin Monday, January 11, 2026 and will run Sundays – Thursdays from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal.
Performances will be presented in The Reynolds Auditorium at The Judy.
