Springfield Symphony Orchestra hosting food drive to benefit Ozarks Food Harvest

As members of the League of American Orchestras and as a part of their Orchestras Feeding America program, the Springfield Symphony will host a food drive, at its Is There Life After Death? classical concert on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts (525 S. John Q. Hammons Pkwy). All donations will benefit Ozarks Food Harvest a Feeding America partner.

The Springfield Regional Arts Council staff, board members, and volunteers will be wrapping presents at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, December 15th, from 9am to 9pm. Wrapping is donation based, with all proceeds going to the SRAC! Swing by to give the gift of books AND art education!

Save the Date for SMMA's Fall Fashion Show

Please join the SMMA for an elegant afternoon at the annual SMMA Fall Fashion Show. This year's event, MargaritaDaze, features a tropical theme inspired by the music of Jimmy Buffett. Your ticket includes valet parking, luncheon, wine and cocktails, silent auction, live entertainment, and a fashion show featuring beachy styles from local boutiques. Proceeds benefit SMMA's support of 5th grade field trips to the Springfield Art Museum, Placeworks teaching artist residencies in rural schools, art acquisitions, and more!
