Creating images with emotion has been a passion for years. As a practicing optometrist, I deal with light and vision daily. At present, my interest is in digital images with hand added detail.
My next creative adventure will be with watercolor and pastels.
Nixa is now our new home. My wife and I love the Springfield area very much and now are closer to our two sons and family. We moved from the Navajo Reservation in Arizona where I was the head of the eye clinic for a small Public Health Service hospital. We were one hour to our closest grocery store where we lived in the Inscription House Clinic housing. Many images are from this exciting 5 years with the Navajo.
Art is capturing light, shapes and the fleeting emotion attached.
