Be a part of this year's Artsfest on Walnut Street on May 4 & 5, 2024. Artsfest makes art essential to the lives of those living in Southwest Missouri by showcasing talented artists and their creativity in a community-centric festival. Forty-two years strong, this outdoor event will host more than 120 artists on beautiful Historic Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri. The festival attracts over 30,000 people annually from a wide range of demographics. This is an excellent opportunity for you to promote your artistry throughout the art community, as well as to all those that attend the festival.
Here are the details...
-Who: Anyone can apply! Last year, we hosted 9 live artists at Artsfest, and we’re looking to add even more this year!
-What: Each artist will receive two 36"x36" panels to paint during the duration of Artsfest relating to the festival’s theme of “Creativity Unleashed.”
-When: Saturday, May 4th (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) & Sunday, May 5th (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Live artists are expected to attend the entire event.
-Where: Historic Walnut Street –Springfield, Missouri
Perks:
-Live artists get the opportunity to interact and network with the Springfield community in a fun, family-friendly environment.
-After the event, the panels will go on display at The Creamery for the rest of the month of May where they can be purchased. Artists set their own prices prior to the festival.
-Win a cash prize! Artsfest attendees vote for their favorite live artist pieces and artists are awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
-Free lunch and drinks will be available to artists in the Hospitality House.
